Chocolate Lovers! Adora Calcium Review & Giveaway

Anyone with a pulse knows that I ADORE chocolate. It’s my lover and we just get each other. So when I first met the lovely team behind Adora Calcium at the Fitness and Health Blogger’s Conference in June, I was more than a little smitten and very gung-ho about trying their product.

Feast your eyes on these beauties!

Two delicious types of chocolate (milk and dark) that provide a whopping 500 mg of calcium, 62% of your daily Vitamin D3 needs, and 40 mg of magnesium. Oh yeah and did I mention you’ll be too busy savoring your chocolate to realize it’s good for you too?!?

Adora was kind enough to send this chocoholic me both their milk chocolate and dark chocolate varieties to try out. Now the picture above is a shot of the milk chocolate pouch I leave at work. I happened to have my Louis Vuitton with me today and thought this was the perfect picture! two premium products side by side making googly eyes at each other.

I’m not kidding when I tell you that these chocolates are high quality like my dear Louis. They taste like heaven and melt in your mouth. There are no added fillers and you’ll notice that the package says no corn syrup, no trans fat, and gluten free. The ingredients list is also completely pronounceable and short. This is why I’ve dubbed them chocolate luxury! You’re getting savory chocolate morsels filled with essential vitamins that help you stay healthy. The definition of have your cake and eat it too is here.

I really loved how starting my day with these healthy sweet treats just put me in a great mood. It’s nice to know that you’re feeding your body Calcium and can enjoy it! Although I will say that it’s been difficult to stop daydreaming about my next dose. They are soooo good! I was surprised at how silky smooth the chocolate is because I expected them to taste chalky or just healthy and strange. This wasn’t the case at all. Definitely glad I had the opportunity to try this product out because it will be something I’ll be purchasing regularly.

 Tips:

1) I like leaving a pouch of the chocolate discs right on my desk at work so that I remember to take one every day. Keep it in a spot that you’re likely to notice so that you don’t miss your daily “dose” or plan ahead and pack a disc with your lunch.

2) Store in a cool place. These are high quality chocolates so they will melt quicker than a Hershey bar. Trust me it’s not pretty when this happens. The fat separates and you’re left with a strange crumbly texture.

So enough about me and how I feed my chocolate cravings! Enter below for a chance to win 30 milk chocolate and 30 dark chocolate calcium discs from Adora Calcium. You’re going to love starting your day with these yummy and healthy treats!

My very favorite dessert is No Pudge brownies… the pink box with the pink pig on it. Now that I am eating gluten-free my favorite dessert/treat is dark chocolate covered almonds.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with coconut milk ice cream, especially mint chocolate chip flavor. It’s so creamy and delicious :)

    • Road Jane says:

I’ve been wanting to try some! Is the coconut taste strong? or is it just what makes it creamy? Ahh mint chocolate chip is my FAVORITE ice cream flavor!!!! Damn I want some now.

      • Jordan D says:

It doesn’t taste like coconut, it just tastes like amazing mint chocolate. I think the coconut makes it super creamy. I tried the no sugar added one, too, and it tastes the same. I don’t want summer to end just so I can keep eating coconut milk ice cream lol

  13. My favorite dessert is s’mores! Think I can make them with these discs? Hehe :)
